Section I- Technical Review
Condos, Co-ops or Townhouse, Insurance Issues and Solutions
Whether your client is a personal line or commercial insured can present some unique insurance challenges and considerations when writing coverage for shared communities or the unit owners. We will discuss how to navigate the areas of governing documents of the association relating to insurance and coverage options specific to an owner or occupant of an association. We will examine coverage from both the Association and Unit owner perspective and significant areas of consideration when providing insurance and risk management solutions for your clients.

Section II – Technical Review
Personal Lines Umbrella and Excess Coverages
Has your client purchased a personal umbrella or excess policy?  Bad things happen to good people.  Is your client prepared to defend themselves should they be sued for a catastrophic event?  We will discuss personal umbrella and excess coverage forms, what they do and what they do not, as well as specific considerations in providing this coverage for your clients.

Section III – Professional Skills & Techniques
Account Development & Rounding of Accounts
With the cycles of the insurance marketplace and emerging exposures, this section is targeted to insurance professionals handling client portfolios and the importance of rounding out their accounts.  Many agents find they write many mono-line policies for clients and are not achieving quality client relationships. Additionally, agents are subjecting themselves to additional errors and omissions exposures. We will review the fundamentals of account review whether being a prospect or an existing client. Risk management and underwriting techniques will be shared to enable the professional to provide the best level of service to their clients.
